Objectives

The objectives of this workshop are to promote an open and comprehensive discussion of experiences and concerns based on the worldwide operations of FPSOs, identify operational and regulatory issues and successful practices that have resulted from these experiences identify needs for new technology to address these concerns This workshop will build on the worldwide FPSO experience and ongoing studies, and focus on operational, regulatory, and technical issues not being addressed elsewhere, including:

Manning and evacuation

Permanent versus disconnectable systems

Vessel motion and stability

bullet

Conversion versus new-build vessels

bullet

Gas handling/transport

Workshop Information

Course Fee: $150 per person (includes proceedings, continental breakfast, luncheon, coffee breaks, and reception)

Enrollment: Advance enrollment is required and may be made by individuals or companies. Applicants must mail completed enrollment application and enclose a check or government purchase voucher for $150 per person payable to the Offshore Technology Research Center.
