| Description |
The objective was
to study the static and dynamic behavior of compliant risers including bending and torsion
effects and to evaluate the effects of the principle parameters on the behavior of such
systems. This was a Joint Industry Project (JIP) focusing on deriving analytic solutions
for the linear dynamic response of compliant risers. This research program permitted the
design engineers and regulatory agency staff to understand the effects of the principle
variables and evaluate alternative concepts. |
