- The MMS has built a reputation for working closely with its many stakeholders to assure that their concerns are addressed in our decisions.
- The MMS staff in our Alaska regional office regularly meets with local and borough governments, and native tribal organizations to discuss environmental justice concerns and to foster good government-to-government relations. These relations guide the consultation process with tribal governments on policies and decisions that directly affect them.
