Offshore Production, Development & Resources
Approximately 61,100 barrels of oil and 113 million cubic feet of gas are currently produced daily from the 43 Federal Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) leases in the area. Roughly 1 billion barrels of unproved recoverable oil reserves and 500 billion cubic feet of gas reserves are estimated to underlie the undeveloped leases. Information provided on this page includes basic data on the offshore facilities regulated by BOEMRE in the Pacific OCS Region, revenue generated from Pacific Region oil and gas leases, and some records achieved in the region. Production Information and Data (free ASCII Data) In 2006, the Bureau released a national assessment of the undiscovered technically recoverable resources (UTRR) underlying offshore waters on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). The assessment is a comprehensive appraisal of relevant data and information available as of January 1, 2003, including advances in petroleum exploration and development technologies. The results of this assessment are provided below.
Additional Resource Assessments: In addition to the current 2006 national assessment, older assessments are provided below. These assessments contain more extensive analysis of the Pacific Outer Continental Shelf Region and are available for historical and comparison purposes.

Starting with the 2007 Production and Reserves Statistics for POCS Fields, reserves information is given in tabular form. Prior to that, Reserves Reports were published. PDF files of those reports are available below. The reports for years 1991 and 1992 are more comprehensive, including descriptions of producing fields.
