Environmental

The Environmental Studies Program defines information needs and implements studies designed to predict the effects of oil and gas exploration and development on the human, marine, and coastal environments. Information from these studies is used in making decisions about selection of areas for leasing, environmental assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
