The FY 2006 Safe Operations and Accurate Reporting (SOAR) Award winner is Shell Exploration and Production Company. This prestigious award recognizes Shell Exploration and Production Company for achieving the most outstanding performance across MMS during 2006, by providing outstanding offshore safety and environmental compliance, excellent mineral revenues payment, reporting, and compliance, and superior cooperation and partnership efforts with the Federal Government.

Marvin Odum, Executive VP for the Americas, Shell Exploration & Production Company, accepts the 2006 National SOAR Award from Deputy Director Walter Cruickshank, Associate Director for Offshore Chris Oynes, and Associate Director for Minerals Revenue Lucy Querques Denett.
