Micheal R. Safford is awarded the MMS Corporate Leadership Award for his highly successful efforts to improve Petroglyph Operating Company’s production reporting. Because of his tireless efforts and thorough research, several months have now gone by with production reports being submitted correctly and in a timely manner. In some cases, reports are complex, involving agreements containing approximately 180 wells. Not content with merely improving current reporting, Mr. Safford has worked extensively with RMP’s Reports Branch to clear up past reporting errors. He has established an excellent working relationship with MMS, promptly responding to questions and resolving problems about Petroglyph’s reports. Through Mr. Safford’s efforts, Petroglyph Operating Company has reduced its reporting error rate from 5 to 1 percent.
