Citation: Rebecca McDonald

The Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service presents its 1998 Corporate Leadership Award to Rebecca McDonald for her leadership capabilities.  This award recognizes her commitment and contributions which enhanced MMS's ability to meet its mission objectives.

Ms. McDonald, as Vice President, volunteered her staff to provide training to MMS employees on natural gas marketing.  This effort helped the MMS staff to gain real life knowledge of the effort required to produce, market, transport and trade natural gas.

Ms. McDonald took the initiative to make this a valuable and positive experience for everyone.

These efforts reflect the unselfish and professional effort by Ms. McDonald in promoting safety and corporate responsibility consistent with the intent and spirit of the Corporate Leadership Award.
