Policy Updates

The Fixed Platform Self Inspection Program follows requirements set forth in Title 33, Subchapter N, Outer continental Shelf Activities (Parts 140-147). In cases where regulations are unclear or do not fully address new technology, the Coast Guard publishes policy letters that clarify regulatory requirements and are used by both Coast Guard and BOEMRE inspectors in the administration of the inspection program.
