Program Analysis

Since assumption of responsibilities of the Fixed Platform Self Inspection program, the Bureau has continued to compile and analyze inspection statistics from each of the BOEMRE District offices to monitor implementation and to ensure consistency in program enforcement. Data are compiled for six-month time periods (October 1 through March 31 and April 1 through September 30) in numerical spreadsheets for the generation of statistics that help to identify areas for further informal attention. A formal report is then produced for Management review, using inspection statistics and reports from the inspectors, with the report focused on overall program improvement.
